As part of a comprehensive modern-style renovation, the ground floor of a beautiful residential building in Düsseldorf's Lörick district was extended in collaboration with an architect. The dual-functional extension was designed to increase the existing living space.

The aim of this project was to significantly expand the living space while creating a bright, open space. The clever integration of inherited antique furniture created a stylish and functional area that includes a spacious living room, a dedicated office and a direct connection to the rear garden. Large bay windows and a skylight in the roof provide natural lighting that floods the entire space with daylight.

The existing rooms were renovated in neutral colors and fitted with custom-made furniture, perfectly showcasing the antique furniture and artwork. This project combines contemporary elegance with the timeless charm of the heritage, creating a harmonious atmosphere that combines the past and the modern.
